I am looking to purchase my first tablet and the research led to these two options:
A Wacom Intuos Comic (small, 75 euros) and a One by Wacom (medium, 109 euros).
I own a 13" Retina Macbook pro and my concern was that the small tablet might not be large enough due to less surface area and the higher pixel density of my laptop. The larger "One" though lacks the hotkey buttons which might come in handy and touch support. The price difference is not an issue.
I will be mainly sketching, learning the basics and putting together my first works on this. I am just looking to kickstart this new hobby of mine.
Does the drawing area matter at all in my case?
Does the larger drawing area compensate for the missing features or will i do just fine with the smaller one?
Also, out of curiosity, will Wacom be releasing new Intuos entry level tablets soon? I could just wait it out instead of making my purchase now, if that would make a difference
Thank you so much for your help!
